We believe in the placenta.

The placenta is extraordinary.
For nine months, it sustains life. It delivers oxygen and nutrients, produces hormones, and supports a baby through every stage of development.
And then, almost immediately after birth, we treat it as waste.
We believe it deserves more consideration than that.
We believe mothers deserve the choice to keep what their bodies created.
Placenta encapsulation has existed across cultures and generations, and thousands of mothers continue to choose it today.
We don't believe that choice should live on the fringe.
We believe women who choose to preserve and consume their placenta deserve a modern, professional way to do it — with clear standards, rigorous handling, and respect for what is being entrusted to us.

We believe in the potential of placenta encapsulation.
We are equally serious about what we do not know.
We will not exaggerate the evidence. We will not promise outcomes science hasn't established. And we will never use the word “natural” as an excuse for lowering the bar on safety.
Because something can come from the human body and still require serious handling.
This is human tissue intended for consumption.
We treat it accordingly.

Safety is not a feature. It is the standard.
Every placenta we receive belongs to one mother.
It is handled for one mother.
And it goes back to one mother.
From collection and transportation through processing and return, we believe the standard should be closer to a laboratory than a kitchen.
That means controlled processes. Clear chain of custody. Careful inspection. Defined safety protocols. And the willingness to say no when a placenta should not be processed.
Even when that means losing the order.
Especially then.

We want to raise the standard of an entire category.
Placenta encapsulation should not require choosing between believing in an old practice and expecting modern standards.
Women should be able to demand both.
That is why we built Pluscenta.
Not to make placenta encapsulation more mystical.
To make it more accountable.
Not to tell women what they should believe about their bodies.
To give those who choose this path a safer, more serious way to do it.
We believe in the power of the placenta.
And we believe something this important deserves the highest standard of care.
