We believe it should be handled through a defined, lab-based process—with individual identification, temperature-controlled transportation, careful inspection, documented steps, and the willingness to decline processing when requirements are not met.
The Pluscenta standard

One placenta. One identified order.
Each kit is assigned its own identifier and handled as an individual order from intake through processing and return. Orders are not combined.
Overnight cold-chain shipping
The kit includes insulated packaging, cooling materials, instructions, and prepaid UPS Healthcare overnight shipping to support temperature-controlled transport to the lab.
A dedicated lab-based process
Pluscenta processes orders in a lab environment using defined intake, cleaning, preparation, dehydration, encapsulation, and packaging procedures—not in a customer’s home or a provider’s kitchen.
Acceptance comes before processing
Not every placenta should be encapsulated. Pluscenta reviews the condition and circumstances of each order and may decline processing when acceptance or handling requirements are not met.

That is intentional. A placenta’s condition, storage, transport, birth circumstances, infection concerns, or hospital treatment may affect whether it can be accepted.

How is my order kept separate?
Each kit receives an individual identifier and is handled as its own order through intake, processing, packaging, and return. Pluscenta does not combine one customer’s placenta with another’s.
